1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Stirling Badminton Club website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Stirling Badminton Club provides recreational badminton sessions and club membership services to individuals in the Stirling area. Our services include:

• Badminton court access during scheduled sessions
• Opportunities to play with other club members
• Information about club events and activities
• Equipment availability (subject to availability)

3. Membership and Participation

Eligibility

All individuals are welcome to join, regardless of skill level. Participants must be over 18.

Code of Conduct

Members are expected to:

• Behave respectfully toward other members, staff, and venue personnel
• Follow venue rules and regulations
• Play safely and consider the wellbeing of others
• Respect equipment and facilities
• Arrive on time for booked sessions

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate membership for any behavior that violates this code of conduct.

4. Payment and Fees

• Drop-in sessions are paid on a per-session basis
• Membership fees (when available) are payable in advance
• All prices are subject to change with notice
• Refunds are not available for missed sessions unless the club cancels
• If the club cancels a session, alternative dates will be offered or refunds provided

5. Health and Safety

Personal Responsibility

Participation in badminton carries inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge that:

• You are physically fit to participate
• You participate at your own risk
• You should consult a healthcare provider if you have health concerns
• You are responsible for your own health and safety

Insurance

Participants are encouraged to have their own personal accident and health insurance. The club's liability insurance covers only what is required by law.

6. Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stirling Badminton Club, its organizers, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Venue closures or session cancellations beyond our control
• Changes to session times or locations

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Club Cancellations

If we cancel a session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates or refunds.

Member Cancellations

Drop-in fees are non-refundable if you cannot attend. Membership cancellations (when available) are subject to the specific terms of the membership agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Stirling Badminton Club or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

9. Photography and Media

Photographs or videos may be taken during club sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the session organizer.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
